The Ayensuano Constituency in Ghana’s Eastern Region has seen a dominance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in parliamentary elections since 2000, holding the seat for five consecutive terms (2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016).
 

However, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) won the seat for the first time in 2020, with Teddy Safori Addi narrowly defeating the NPP candidate
