The Atiwa West constituency is located in the Atiwa District of the Eastern Region of Ghana and has a population of 110,662 according to the 2010 population and housing census.

Election History

Kwasi Amoako Attah – MP (NPP)

 
It is considered a stronghold for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
 
Per data compared from 1996 to 2016 elections, the NPP tops continuously; in terms of votes, both presidential and parliamentary.
 
The incumbent Member of Parliament for the constituency is Kwasi Amoako-Attah. His journey as the MP started in 2010 after he won the Atiwa by-election.
