Mpraeso Constituency, located in the Eastern Region of Ghana, is a stronghold of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

 

Since the 1996 elections, the NPP has consistently won the parliamentary seat, making it one of the safest seats for the party.

 

The NDC has not yet secured a win in the constituency in recent parliamentary contests
