About This Constituency

The Zabzugu constituency is situated in the Zabzugu district in the Northern Region of Ghana. It used to be part of the larger Zabzugu-Tatale District until the Tatale-Sangule District was carved out of it in 2012.

According to the 2021 Population and Housing Census, the total population of the district is 82,846, comprising 40,879 males and 41,967 females.

As of 2020, the total number of registered voters in the Constituency, according to the Electoral Commission (EC), is 36,744.
